Douglas County District Court is the official name by which this court is known. IS Hway 94 running concurrently with US Hway 52 pass to the South of Alexandria where they intersect with SR's 27 and 29 which run together North through the town. |

Visit the Runestone Museum in downtown Alexandria. Here you can enter Fort Alexandria and visit several authentic log buildings, an 1880 country school house, and view the forty-foot viking ship; which will keep you guessing about whether Norsemen were early settlers of this area. To further the myth stop by to see the 28 foot tall viking statue of Big Ole adjacent to the Central Lakes Trail. To visit Alexandria, fly on a charter or fly your own aircraft into Chandler Field; a public general aviation airport situated at the Southwest edge of the city.
