Brookdale County Court is a suburban division (Division II) of the Hennepin District Court and has jurisdiction over all non-felony traffic and criminal cases for Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Corcoran, Crystal, Dayton, Greenfield, Hanover, Hassan, New Hope, Osseo, Robbinsdale, Rockford, Rogers. The area has major highways (IS 94, IS 694, US Hway 52, and SR's 100 and 252) running through it. |

Brooklyn Center lies along the Mississippi river. A large city of over 29,000 residents it has over 500 acres of parks. One of its largest, Garden City park, has Basketball hoops, playground equipment, a shelter building and softball field for residents enjoyment. The Earle Brown Days Festival is an annual event held in late June and features a parade, a Senior Golf Tournament held at Centerbrook Golf Course and culminates with the Midnight Breeze concert of classic rock and country music at Central park. The city celebrates the diversity of its people with groups representing Swedish, Chicano Latino, Asian Pacific, Somali, German, Hmong, Lao, Jewish, Native American and Nowegian heritages. |
