Youth from the area recently pulled trash; including even a stop sign, a toilet seat, and a weathered tent and the kitchen sink, from the Redwood River’s banks. This was the first year the city has attempted a Redwood River clean-up with the with the participation of volunteers from Marshall High School, Future Farmers of America and other area youth groups. While you are in town; try to take in a stage presentation by the Marshall area stage players for a wonderful night of entertainment. Southwest Minnesota State University, a four-year public university, is located at the Eastern edge of town. It offers degrees in various Liberal Arts, Science and other professions. |
