The official name of this court is the Olmsted County District Court. IS 90 makes its way through th e Southern part of Olmstead county. US 14 runs into this city and intersects with US 63 and US 52 with which it runs concurrently to the North. These along with SR's 30 and 42 are the main roads in the county; all of which produce more than enough traffic cases for the court.

Rochester is one of the largest cities in Minnesota with a sizeable population of over 100,000 and occupying a land area of close to 40 square miles. Rochester is home to the main campus of the world reknowned Mayo Clinic. The clinic along with St. Mary's hospital and Rochester Methodist hospital comprise the the largest integrated medical center in the world. This is the place where people from all over the world come for comprehensive diagnosis and treatment. While they are visiting they can if possible enjoy a night of the wonderful Rochester Symphony Orchestra and Chorale. In and around the city there are 7 golf courses which provide plenty of opportunity for an afternoon of relaxing golf.
