Virginia County Court is one of three branches of the St. Louis County District court. US 53, connecting with SR 135, runs along the Southern part of town and merging with US 169, turns North to run along the West side of town. |

This city, first settled at the end of the 19th century, has two wonderful lakes in its midst. Silver lake and Virginia lake which provide many opportunities for the fisherman to catch walleye, northern, bass, and pan fish. These two lakes also have walking trails around them so that strollers can experience the beautiful scenery the lakes present. Virginia is not left behind when it comes to providing winter recreational facilities. The city has four outdoor recreational skating rinks and 2 outdoor hockey rinks, and to get out of the weather there is the indoor hockey rink at the Miners Memorial Building. Be sure to visit the city's beautiful parks; especially. Olcott Park with its exquisite fountain and a large greenhouse. This facility is available for visits the year round. |
