About the area |
The city of Waseca lies along Clear lake, the site of enchanting days and evenings. Just about the middle of the 19th century sand and gravel was being excavated from the lake bottom for building materials until the practice was banned by Waseca. The Waseca Water park, a great place to enjoy summer afternoons is at the North end of the city. Here fun lovers of all ages can enjoy the slide tower, which rises 25 feet above the deck area, as well as a Water Walk, Trio of Fun, Dew Drop and Toddler Turtle slide. More water fun is provided by the geysers, sheet flow curtain, and water spray area and for the kids there is a sand play area containing 200 cubic yards of sand nearby. |
