About the area

The exhibits in the Andrew County Museum are a celebration of the rural way of life in Andrew county. A photograph display plays a large in these exhibits. The museum also plays host from time to time to traveling exhibits. Some of the exhibits consist of the personal collection of a distinguished citizen of Andrew county. It includes family photographs and memorabilia from Savannah, Little Tavern business history, a collection of navajo rugs, carvings, bronze statuary, and personal memorabilia. He was the owner of the Little Tavern restaurants. Showcases display a doll collection which includes 19th century French, German, English and American dolls and a variety of Kewpies and Scottles dolls.
