St. Joseph Circuit Court

St. Joseph Circuit Court is the circuit court of Buchanan County in the Fifth Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system.

If you visit the Remington Nature Center of St. Joseph you won't be sorry. The variety of exhibits here is astounding. There are live animals, including reptiles, amphibians and mammals. There is an exhibit of rocks and fossils including agates, gold, petrified wood, concretions, jasper and a trilobite. The Civil War display includes officer's uniforms and examples of shot. Oxen shoes, iron knuckles, Union coat buttons, Confederate currency and an artillery box plate are a part of this exhibit. There is a collection of hundreds of pieces of barbed wire and displays explaining the important changes barbed wire brought to the United States. a collection of animal pelts including deer, skunk, opossum, squirrel, red fox, beaver and coyote.
