Jackson Circuit Court is the circuit court of Cape Girardeau County in the Thirty-Second Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system. Hearings for city ordinance and traffic violations in the city of Gordonville (SR Z) are held in the Associate Division of this court.

About the area

The Trail of Tears State Park is where nine Cherokee Indian groups being relocated to Oklahoma crossed the Mississippi River during harsh winter conditions in 1838 and 1839. At the visitors center you can fid the story of this migration and the tragedies which befell the group. The park also has shaded picnic sites, hiking and horse trails, fish spots on both the Mississippi River and Lake Boutin and majestic views of the Mississippi River. There is a great opportunity here for viewing migratory waterfowl.
