Liberty Circuit Court

Liberty Circuit Court is the circuit court of Clay County in the Seventh Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system. City ordinance and traffic violations from the cities of Avondale, Birmingham and Glenaire are heard in the 7th division of this court.

The city holds a Summer concert series with one concert per month in June, July and August. They start at 7 PM and are held at the corner of Water and Kansas streets. Attendees should bring their lawn chairs and blankets. Parks and Recreation department usually tries to present performances by groups representing very different musical genres and performance styles. Another entertainment venue available to residents is the Liberty Community center where the Liberty Performing Arts Theatre produces a diverse series of presentations such as full musicals, stand-up comedy, professional children’s theater, Chinese acrobats jazz, rock and pop and symphonic band concerts, theatrical comedy, vaudeville shows and solo piano and dance recitals.
