Pleasant Valley is really a johnny-come-lately among towns in Missouri having been founded around 1945. Besides the two city parks in town there are three picnic shelters, two of which are behind city hall. Pretty convenient if you are coming there are on business; just bring along a picnic lunch and enjoy the afternoon. The town also has a community center building available for rent. There is also a private baseball and softball training facility in town.
