Buffalo Circuit Court

Buffalo Circuit Court is the circuit court of Dallas County in the Thirtieth Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system. Hearings for city ordinance and traffic violations in the city of Buffalo (US 65, SR 32 and SR 73) are held in this court.

The land on which Buffalo is located was originally held by two landowners, one of whom erected buildings on the land three years prior to the survey of the city around 1841. The two were soon followed by other settlers. Buffalo has one city park and a municipal swimming pool. The park has a gazebo, a covered picnic area, a playground and open grounds. In the North end of town there is a Dallas County Community park with soccer and baseball fields, a playground, a walking trail and a picnic area. If you want to have a lot of fun join the crowd at the annual Southwest Missouri Celtic Heritage Festival and Highland Games held in this city. The event has music, games competition, food, vendors, a parade and the Calling of the Clans. The games competition includes Open Stone; Braemar Stone; Heavy & Light Weight for Distance; Light Hammer; Sheaf; Weight over Bar and Caber and are held for the following classes: Men's Open; Men's Novice; Women's Open; Master's Open and 190's.
