Fishermen will surely want to head to Limpp Lake, a dam located just a few miles Northwest of King City. The lake is reported to hold a variety of fish including largemouth bass, bluegill and crappie. This dam from time to time has gotten local farmers out of hot water, pardon the pun. During droughts the water from this resource, through cooperation of the Conservation Department, has been pumped to aid the farmers with their cattle production. There are a few stables around the King City area where quarter horses are available for riding.
