Hermitage Circuit Court is the circuit court of Hickory County in the Thirtieth Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system.
About the area
Hermitage on the Pomme De Terre was first plotted in the years 1846-47 and named for Andrew Jackson's home in Tennessee. The history of Hickory county is there for all to see inscribed on a sign located on the square of Hermitage. The Hickory County Historical Society museum and research room is in the John Siddles Williams House a structure built around 1855 which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum displays Hickory County artifacts which have been donated by current and former county residents and has a number of records including marriage records from 1872 to 1945 and local cemetery records.
