Two events near and dear to fruit lovers take place in this town; the annual Missouri Peachfest and the Waverly Apple Jubilee with the official State of Missouri Apple Judging Contest, the carnival, parade, free entertainment, the world famous Apple Pan Dowdies Apple Dumpling Booth and Delicious Whole Hog Meals. The Apple Jubilee also includes a professional rodeo held in the park on the northwest corner of the Memorial Park. |
