Vienna Circuit Court

Vienna Circuit Court is the circuit court of Maries County in the Twenty-Fifth Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system.

Two relics from the past remain in Vienna. One a limestone building with a gabled roof, built around 1856, was the town jail and has been converted into a museum. The museum's exhibits consist of pioneer relics from the central Ozarks area. Nearby is the the Felker Log House built by an immigrant from Hanover, Germany who was one of the early settlers to the area. The Maries County Fair is held in this city each year from the end of August into Early September. The fair features contests, exhibits, livestock shows and events in the Sports arena led off by a parade. The contests include the Smack Down vs RAW tournament, Dance Central Dance Central tournament and the Kiddie Tractor Pull. The livestock shows include beef cattle, dairy cattle, swine, sheep, goats, rabbits and poultry. In the arena you can see the always exciting Demolition Derby, the Mid-America Tractor Pullers Association Sanctioned Pull and the Brush Tractor and Truck Pull. Of course there is always live musical entertainment and lots of food.
