Canoers love coming to this city where they can find camp grounds and motels along the Elk river where they hope to float down the river in a craft rented from one of the many rental outlets here. The trip into town is also picturesque with limestone bluffs overhanging the road. While you are here you can visit one of the many caves in the area including the especially beautiful Bluff Dwellers cavern. The Browning museum associated with the cavern has more than 700 arrowheads and other chipped artifacts found in the locality and a collection of mineral rocks, fossils and artifacts.
