Northwest Missouri State university is located in Maryville. The institution is made up of the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, of Education and Human Services and of Business and Professional Studies. It bestows the Bachelors Degree in Arts, in Fine Arts, in Music Education, in Education, in Science, in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, in Technology. It also has a two year Certificate program in several fields and provides a series of Pre-professional courses including pre-medicine and pre-engineering. Masters degree programs are available in various disciplines with the resultant dgree upon completion.
