About the area |
If you are visiting here in the Summer you might want to spend a cool and relaxing day at the Tiger Shark Waterpark. At other times of the year there two wineries you can visit for a tasting and some cool snacks; St. James Winery and Meremac Vineyards. The worldâs first Vacuum Cleaner museum can be found at the Tacony Manufacturing plant. The exhibits here represent a history of the vacuum cleaner in the United States. On display are vintage vacuum cleaners including a rare Hoover Dustette, the first hand held vacuum. The Community Recreation center has a full-size basketball court, pool tables, a full-size kitchen and a weight and fitness room as well as other table games. The city recreational facilities also include baseball fields, pavilions, batting cages, soccer fields, a horse arena, an basketball court and a bike trail over five miles long |
