| About the area |
Just a short distance North of Edgerton lies the Anthony and Beatrice Kendzora Conservation area. The lake within the area provides an opportunity for lake fishing and a long stretch of the of the Platte River runs through the west part of the area, providing an opportunity for river fishing. In addition to the seasonal flooding of an area of the park which provides an upland game and waterfowl habitat the almost 300 acre timber area provides a habitat for wild turkeys, white-tailed deer, fox and gray squirrels, furbearers and a variety of songbirds. This has to be a hunter's paradise. |
