If you want to come to an exciting event be sure to attend the The Kansas City Scottish Highland Games in June at E.H. Young Park in Riverside. You will be treated to world-class bagpiping, sanctioned highland dancing and Scottish heavy athletics competitions. A full weekend of musical entertainment is presented on two stages performed by local and national traditional and contemporary Celtic music artists. Best of all you can enjoy authentic Scottish food by the vendors at this event. In September truck fans and owners have the Midwest All Truck Nationals where awards are given to many different classes of vehicles. There's also a cruise night, swap meet, burnout, model, loud exhaust and high/low contests and live music and DJ. |
