There are several good roads accessible to the residents of Moberly. US 24 runs through the Northern part of town, BR US 63 runs through the center of town, US 63 runs along the Eastern edge of town and SR EE intercepts both BR US 63 and US 63. |

About the area |
This city was the point where the the Chariton and Randolph railroad connected with the North Missouri Railroad company in the 1860's. When the Wabash Railroad decided to locate its shops here around 1873; the city experienced an explosive growth. Today, its population is close to 14,000. The fairly new Moberly Aquatic Center has a lot of facilities to contribute to the visitors enjoyment. It is equipped with a zero-depth entry area, Handicapped accessible entry, Water âSpraygroundâ, A current channel, 1- and 3-meter diving boards, a family water slide, A âdouble twistâ water slide. concession Stand and a party area available for rent. The Howard Hils Athletic Complex covers approximately 90 acres which are the site of baseball fields, softball/baseball fields, T-ball fields, soccer/football fields, a Concession Building, Playground, volleyball courts, basketball courts and batting cages. |
