Doniphan Circuit Court is the circuit court of Ripley County in the Thirty-Sixth Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system. Hearings for city ordinance and traffic violations in the cities of Naylor (SR 142) and Doniphan (SR 21, SR 142 and US 160) are held in the municipal part of the Associate division of this court.

The Current River Heritage museum has two floors of exhibits,artifacts and photographs relating to the people who settled Ripley county. The Heritage Homestead is an area whose structures depict the history of the county. Within its grounds there is an 1860's restored log cabin, log barn, and the Tom Kennon Blacksmith Shop. In the log cabin you will find vintage furnishings used by the early settlers to the area.
The barn has antique farm implements, including a wagon, plows, planter and cultivating tools displayed. The Blacksmith Shop is operational and try to attend one of the weekly demonstrations put on by volunteers who are local members of the Blacksmith Association of Missouri. Boaters might want to go to Doniphan City park where in addition to the walking track, ball fields and picnic tables there is boat landing on the Current river.
