Shaw Park the city's oldest and largest park has majestic trees and open grass areas, and lovely gardens including Century Garden. The park also has an outdoor Aquatic Center, including a 50-meter competition pool, a diving pool and a splash and play pool; an outdoor Ice-Skating rinks; tennis Courts, ball fields, playgrounds, and sand volleyball courts; the Shaw Park Pavilion, a covered picnic site which can accommodate up to 180 guests; picnic shelters and the North shelter and the South shelter. Other parks in this town are Clayshire, Concordia, DeMun, Hanley park and House, Henry Wright, Oak Knoll, Taylor, Whitburn and Wydown. |
