About the area

The Berry-Glenn Historical museum is located in the historic Frisco Railroad depot erected around 1904. The museums exhibits display photographs, newspapers and memorabilia related to the history of Puxico and the surrounding area. There is also a bright red caboose located on the grounds. Puxico has four parks; Houck, Veteran’s, Puxico Memorial and Harbin Beard. In Houck Park you will find a wooded area with a pavilion, tennis courts and activities for children. Veteran’s Park located in the downtown area has a lighted covered stage. There is a ball diamond, picnic pavilion, playground and walking track in Puxico Memorial Park and Minnie Harbin Beard Park is just a mini park.
