Nevada Circuit Court is the circuit court of Vernon County in the Twenty-Eighth Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system. Hearings for city ordinance and traffic violations in the cities of Bronaugh (SR 43), Moundville (SR 43), Sheldon (CR B) and Walker (SR C and SR EE) are held in this court.

The Izaak Walton Aquatic center is just the place to be in the Summer. It has slides, floaters and playground in the Kiddie pool. The Nevada Police Department and the Nevada Parks and Recreation Department host an annual National Night Out at this facility in early August. The Nevada Community center has two gyms. The bigger of the two has a regulation size basketball court with fold out bleachers, a walking track around the basketball court and can accommodate two regulation volley ball courts. The smaller gym has a regulation basketball court and a regulation size volleyball court.
