Grant City Circuit Court is the circuit court of Worth County in the Fourth Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system.

About the area

This is the city where the great bandleader Glenn Miller's musical career was born. He started his music training while in school at Grant City and worked in a shoe shine stand owned the band director. Miller was not a native of Grant City, but moved here with his family around 1915 and earned money milking cows to buy his first trombone. a monument at the courthouse commemorates his life here. The Grant City pool and the Grant City skating rink are two places in town which attract most of the residents.
