The Verandah House, built in the 1850's, served as headquarters for a number of generals, both Confederate and Federal, during the Civil War. In the 1870's the house was purchased by the family of the founder of nationally famous Curlee Clothing Company. The home a designated Mississippi Landmark, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and has been designated a National Historic Landmark. seems like Coca-Cola is popular in Corinth and has been for a long time. In 2007 the Corinth Coca-Cola Museum opened to celebrate 100 years of Coca-Cola in Corinth.
