It seems that since 1904, murder has been a way of life in Vaiden. The hills were early victims of this trend. The other trend which plagued Vaiden was the inability of the passing trains to always succeed in snatching the the mail from the mail crane on the siding of the railroad; used to transfer mail in place of stopping for it. |
