SR 42/Evelyn Gandy Parkway is terrific road running through the Northern part of town and US 11 can be found along the Eastern edge. The court is held every Tuesday beginning at 9:30 on a first come, first serve basis. Make sure you make your scheduled to appearance, no continuances are granted.

About the area

For a city that has a name that is a part of a flower, it's a strange site for the International Checkers Hall Of Fame built in the mid 1970's. This building, which originally was Château Walker named for its founder, contains an vast array of checker history, library, museum, and memorabilia from around the world and the largest and second largest checkerboards in the world. The annual Memorial Day weekend Mississippi Open Tournament is usually played here. Château Walker sits on 12 acres of 9 parcels, and is the largest residential structure in Forest County.
