About the area |
Just to the North of Leakesville there two great areas for outdoor recreation. While there are no marked hiking trails at Kurtz State forest; the area can be explored by foot to enjoy this beautiful scenic area. Turkey Fork Recreation Site at the edge of the over 200 acre Turkey Fork Reservoir lake has water skiing, wakeboarding, picnicking and campsites for the visitor's enjoyment.
