At the end of April of each year, Oxford hosts the Double Decker Arts Festival, named for the town's authentic English tour bus, which is a lively celebration of music, art, and food held at downtown Courthouse Square. Leading off with the Double Decker Spring Run the festival continues through the day with lots of entertainment and food. In addition February is the time for the Oxford Film Festival attended by filmmakers from all over the world to screen films alongside the work of local filmmakers. The University Oxford airport located on the Northern end of the city has a runway just over 5600 feet in length and can service various short range aircraft. |
