There are plenty of roads to use in traveling through Meridian and leaving and coming to the city: US 11, US 80, SR 19, SR 39, SR 493, SR 494 and SR 496. IS 20/IS 59 run along the Southern edge of the city and US 45 runs to the East. |

Around Town Carousels Abound is not your typical carousel, instead this is an outdoor public art project. Over 50 brightly decorated carousel horses were created by local and regional artists. The horses decorations were created to reflect its own theme and story.The horses have been placed in prominent locations around the city. To get a glimpse of an old gristmill and walk back in time visit the Causeyville general store and gristmill which was built in the 1890's and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You can buy Stone ground corn meal which is produced on the premises and slices of hoop cheese. |
