Coopers Ferry Park is a fairly recent addition to Monticello. There are landscaped walkways and a fishpond here. A working water mill is located at the end of a running stream. Views of the nature overlook are a feature of the new elevated walkway. For picnics or just a view of the scenic Pearl river there is a nice pavilion.
