Plantersville has a population of a little over 1,000 people and is considered one of the oldest towns in Lee County. This town is home to Norman the wandering goat and his lady friend. Tombigbee State Park is located a short distance to the East of town. This park has over 500 acres of recreational land with 20 developed campsites equipped with full hookups and a bathhouse with hot showers. It also has primitive tent camping sites and vacation cabins. |
