About the area

Residents of Brookhaven who enjoy baseball, softball or soccer find that their city provides excellent facilities for these sports. The city's recreational complex has large soccer fields and softball fields. The softball fields here are unique; they are equipped with adjustable outfield fences to accommodate facilities for both youth and adult players. In addition the Dr. A. L. Lott Sportsplex has lighted fields for softball and baseball. The Brookhaven Parks and Recreation department also provides many sports activities, including spring and summer adult, church and youth softball; t-ball, buddy ball, little league and pony league baseball; and women’s and coed volleyball leagues.
