This Black, coeducational, liberal arts college was founded in the 1860's by the Freedman's Aid Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church. The college offers courses in the humanities, social behavior sciences, natural science, business, technology and education. Lovers of the blues will want to be in Holly Springs on Sunday afternoons during Spring and Summer to hear and enjoy concerts which are rooted in the traditional North Mississippi Hill Country Blues style.â¨
