Kenny Brown, Blues guitarist, vocalist and a student of the Mississippi Hill country blues makes his home in Potts Camp. So if you are town sometime you might catch him playing a few licks of terrific blues music. As recently as 2010 the Kenny Brown Band performed "Miss Maybelle" at the North Mississippi Hill Country Picnic, an annual event held in Potts Camp. This annual festival,held in June, celebrates the legacies of departed North Mississippi blues legends. |
