Crenshaw lies right on the border between Panola and Quitman counties and even spills over into Quitman county. One of the more inspiring and home grown stories is that of Billie Crenshaw. When over 25 years ago,
Mr. Crenshaw told Billie she she could do whatever she wanted with the pecans that fell off the trees on her husband's family farm; she created her own business, producing recipes, jams and jellies with pecans and fruit which came straight from the family farm. This business is still going strong shipping its products to all 50 state.
