Although Magnolia was settled at the end of the first decade of the 19th century it was not incorporated until the middle of the century. "Magnolia's Evening in Lights" is a Celebration of the Lighted Azalea Festival. It is a candlelit night of music and food under the massive oaks and lighted azaleas. The Lighted Azalea Festival features tours of its historic homes to honor its history. The tour also includes a stop at the Magnolia Garden Club's annual Flower Show and ends at the Magnolia Depot where the Evening in Lights is held. |
