If you want to learn about the Chickasaws or find out about the trials and tribulations of the pioneers in the area ; you can visit theTown Square Post Office and Museum. It is the only working historical post office in the nation and you might even hear the sound of a train whistle every now and then. Besides the post office there is a gift shop here and various rooms on the main floor and in the basement hold exhibits which provide a view of the life of yesteryear in Pontotoc County. |
