US 80 and SR 468 running together through the Northern part of town and IS 20 running through the Southern part of town are excellent routes for motorists to breeze through Pearl and to reach other parts of the state. SR 468 also runs through the cenr\ter of town connecting US 80 with IS 20.

About the area

As an established city, Pearl is a johnny-come-lately since it was not incorporated until the early 1970's. With the annexation of an additional area five years after the turn of the 21st century; the city's population is close to 25,000 and it covers an area close to 22 square miles and its residents enjoy a fairly good median household income. The new Trustmark Ball Park, covering approximately 30 acres, is the home field of the Mississippi Braves, a Class AA affilliate of the Atlanta Braves.
