Many people outside of this area do not know of Emmett (Louis) Till nor of the vents surrounding him. However the citizens of this area have chosen to remember him by their creation of the Historic Intrepid Center named for him. The memorial museum is located on the lower level of an old cotton gin and the upper level of the museum is the home of Glendora ‘s Adult & Continuing Education Training and Technology Center. The center of the new Glendora Broadband Communication Systems network is also located here.
