About the area |
From the late 1840's to the late 1870's Tylertown was known as Conerly's. Some of its businesses have been around since the early 20th century and the Ford dealership is thought to be the oldest in the state. Holmes Water Park has a picnic area, stage area, softball fields, a baseball field, a new playground area, walking trail and camper hookups. Setting it apart from most water park it even has a designated chapel area. The Southwest Events Center which adjoins the water park; consists of a close to 4000 square foot conference room, complete with a commercial kitchen. This large area overlooks an arena which his approximately 26,000 square feet in size.
