Vicksburg Justice Court

Vicksburg Justice Court is the Justice Court of Warren County.

Three old homes in the area are worth visiting. Anchuca built around 1830 by a local politician is now a bed and breakfast. In the 1840's a local coal and ice merchant added the columned front and the two-story dependency in back. This Greek revival landmark is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Baer house, an example of Eastlake Victorian, was built around 1870 and now exists as an inn. Inside this house you will find many examples handcrafted American chestnut and black walnut detailed woodwork. This antebellum home has an unusual feature, rarely seen, a two story outdoor privy. The Bazsinsky House, built around 1840, remained a home for the Bazsinsky family through four generations until early in the 21st century. This home also is now a bed and breakfast and is located next to the Olga Douglas Lewis Gardens across from the Old Court House Museum. To see the where Coca-Cola was first bottled anywhere in the world you need go no further than Vicksburg. This structure is now the Biedenharn Coca-Cola Museum where you can see reproduction bottling works, Coca-Cola memorabilia, 1900 soda fountain and restored 1890 candy store. The kids will love this; Ice-cold Cokes, ice cream floats, Mississippi-made Luvel dipped ice cream are available in the gift shop.
