Dillon Justice Court is in the Fifth judicial district of Montana and handles civil and traffic infractions countywide and outside the Dillon city limits. Major roads in Beaverhead county are IS 15, SR 41 and SR 278.

About the area

Dillon is the home of the University of Montana Western. The school has programs and offers degrees in fields such as Biology, Education, Equine Studies, Fine Arts and Mathematics. The campus is the new location of the historic Roe House, circa 1912, which sat on the Red Rock River Ranch until moved here and fully restored. The Dillon Jaycee Labor Day rodeo, concert and parade are crowded into what has been called "Montana's Biggest Weekend" held at the Beaverhead County fairgrounds at the very end of August. You will see some of America's top riders and ropers here. You also get a chance to look over jellies, jams, quilts and animals entered in the different competitions.
