Among the museums in Bozeman, two are of particular interest. The Museum of Modern Human Progress, formerly known as the American Computer and Robotics Museum spans the centuries of humman invention. The exhibits here include an Antikythera mechanism and the first computer known to exist built in 80 B.C.; original 4,500 year old Babylonian clay tablets; a Gutenberg press; Thomas Edison and Alexander Bell Inventions; original Samuel Morse telegraph documents and much more. The Museum of the Rockies has a large and famous collection of dinosaur fossils from the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods which were found in Montana rocks.
