Polson Justice Court lies within the Twentieth judicial district of Montana. It handles civic and traffic infraction from throughout Lake county except those occurring within the city limits of Polson, Ronan or St. Ignatius. US 93 is basically the only major road running through Lake county.

About the area

Flathead Lake, which lies at Polson's doorstep, is the largest natural freshwater lake in the western United States. It attracts many visitors in the Summer when temperatures here are in the comfortable range. The city takes advantage of the lake by locating several of its parks along its banks. In August the Valley Cruisers Car Show and Polson Art Festival holds it annual Cruisen By the Bay Car Show on Main Street. The festival also has two free concert for everyone to enjoy. Friday evening of this event there is the Picnic in the Park with a free concert and ice cream social.
