The city of Missoula has two venues for live outdoor entertainment in the Summer. Downtown ToNight starts in June and continues through August with live entertainment every Thursday night in Downtown Caras park. This event is also a continuous food festival with food vendors and the Bud Light beverage garden. The other summer happening is the Missoula City Band Summer concert series held at the Bonner Park band shell every Wednesday evening from the middle of June to the middle of August. Bring you chairs and blankets and join the crowd for some enjoyable evenings. Visit the Elk Country Visitor center in Missoula to see exhibits to learn more about elk and elk country. In the center you will be able to hear elk bugle, judge your knowledge of wildlife, identify animal tracks, feel the weight of an elk antler, and see wildlife conservation films as well as see a display of trophy elk mounts.
