Hamilton Justice Court is located in the Twenty-First judicial district of Montana. THis court handles civic and traffic infractions which occur in Ravelli county with the exception of those which occur within the city limits of Darby, Hamilton and Stevensville. Us 93 runs all the way through Ravelli county and along the way encounters SR 203 and SR 373.

Hamilton has an ideal location, situated between the Bitterroot Range and the Sapphire Mountains, enjoying a fairly moderate climate. The town is made up primarily of a large number of farms, ranches and orchards. Hamilton, being close to the two mountain ranges where the Bitterroot National forest lies, has access to this forest covering over 1 1/2 million acres. In the area big game species such as bear, elk, moose, big horn sheep, mule and whitetail deer and Rocky Mountain goat ca be seen. Smaller animals and birds frequent the areas adjacent to the trails in this forest providing many opportunities for photographers of nature.
